EMERGE Initiative by Naomi Campbell

EMERGE, a new initiative empowering the next generation of creative and business talent from emerging regions and communities around the world. The first edition; EMERGE Doha 2022 includes a contemporary art and fashion exhibit featuring some of the rising stars from Africa, the Diaspora, the Americas, and the Middle East, a fashion show presenting the next generation of models and designers, and panel talks with experts from the creative industries.

EMERGE aims to champion a series of interventions ranging from university programs, artist residencies, mentorship and apprenticeship.

Art Exhibit

The Art Exhibit brings together 27 contemporary artists from Africa and the Diaspora, from Art Masters to rising stars. These artworks will be sold at the EMERGE Auction in partnership with Sotheby's where funds raised from the sale will go to the EMERGE artists and fashion initiatives.

Fashion Exhibit

The Designers Exhibit showcases 7 recognised and rewarded designers from Africa and the Diaspora. These designers show us their creative innovations through an exhibit that spotlights their identity and craft.
