Explore your creativity with this DIY workshop that will teach interdisciplinary skills in 3D printing and ceramics. Through this activity, participants will learn to ideate, design, and print 3D printed molds, and work with clay to create custom patterns.  

On Day 1, our resident Prototype Lab Specialist will provide an introduction to 3D software and step-by-step instruction on using 3D printers at Liwan’s Prototype Lab to create cookie cutter molds.

On Day 2, participants will learn basic techniques of working with clay, using textures and patterns to personalize their own coasters.

This workshop has been designed as an introduction to the basics of 3D printing and ceramics and is suitable for complete beginners. All work will take place under the supervision of Liwan’s Production Specialist.
