Celebrating Qatar’s local traditional crafts, join us to create your own original coffee cup holder made using Sadu fabric. Sadu is a traditional woven fabric made on a ground loom that is ubiquitous in local homes. Participants will learn the basics of upcycling and beginner skills for sewing machines. The workshop will be led by Sayuri Kurotsu, a Japanese fashion designer and founder of SHIROTSU, a fusion streetwear brand based in Doha, Qatar.
