The SADUOBI workshop was inspired by participant requests and focuses on combining traditional Sadu and Obi patterns to create unique designs. The workshop will consist of two main parts: an introduction to setting up a sewing machine and a hands-on session where participants will make mini tote bags.In the workshop, participants will learn to combine the symbolic motifs of Sadu and Obi patterns into original designs using a straightforward, linear approach. They will experiment with pattern and color combinations and master the basics of machine sewing with simple straight stitches.
