Meet The Iron Dames
Meet The Iron Dames
An exceptional and inspirational event dedicated to women's leadership and empowerment. This high-level panel discussion taking place at 321 Olympic and Sports Museum features the participation of Iron Dames athletes, team leaders, as well as inspiring local figures and representatives from the FIA WEC and Longines Global Championship League.
Founded in 2018 by Deborah Mayer, the iron dames project committed to promoting and supporting women in sports where they compete in equal terms with men. The project has been launched and rapidly developed in motor sport. The iron dames, as an all-female line-up, achieved historic victories and breakthroughs at the pinnacle of world endurance racing.
In 2023, the iron dames are making a grand entrance into the world of equestrianism, with an elite women's show jumping team competing at the highest level in FEI championships including Longines Global Champions Tour and Global Championships League.
In six years, the project has grown from 3 top athletes to 17, illustrating its rapid success, sustained growth and long-term vision.
The project is also committed to developing young female talents from junior categories to pro categories and to promoting inclusivity for women at all levels. With a team philosophy of race to inspire, the iron dames stands for all passionate women, driven by dreams, willing to go beyond barriers and limits.
